My latest works focus on family, grief, motherhood, memory, and belonging. Starting from real people and lived experience, the paintings explore themes of loss, care, identity and resilience.
Works such as The Pathfinder, The First Disappearing Mother, and The Little Empress examine different aspects of these themes through the figures of the father, the mother, and the child.
These works were created during a period of transition following my relocation to Ireland. They were not conceived as a single project or series, but emerged independently as I responded to new experiences, questions, and circumstances. Together, they reflect an important period of change and development within my practice.
