I am a Romanian visual artist based in Limerick, working primarily in oil on canvas. Born into a family of artists in Bucharest, I grew up surrounded by studios, painters, sculptors, poets, actors and the particular artistic bohemia of Romania during the late 1980s and 1990s. That atmosphere shaped the way I experience both art and reality, as something deeply emotional, intuitive, and inseparable from everyday life.

I hold a BA and MA in Graphic Arts, and for the last fifteen years I have worked primarily as a figurative painter. My paintings are influenced by memory, emotion, symbolism, and the subconscious, often existing somewhere between reality and imagination.

The human figure remains central to my paintings, especially feminine presences that carry themes of transformation, ancestry, matrescence, care and healing. Motherhood profoundly changed both my life and my relationship to painting, deepening my interest in the invisible emotional worlds we carry within us.

Alongside my studio practice, I have also worked on interdisciplinary collaborative projects involving installation, sound, performance, artist-run spaces, and immersive environments. I am interested in how image, space, and narrative can alter perception and create emotional resonance.

My work has been exhibited internationally through exhibitions, artist-run initiatives, auctions, and independent curatorial projects.
