White Stories defines a period in my practice when I explored painting with very little contrast, working almost entirely in white tones and subtle textures. During this time, I was invited to an artist residency in Zadar, Croatia, where I created and exhibited some of these paintings inside an old Roman church. Some of the works from this series remained there in a private collection.
